Summer Travels

This summer has been a whirlwind of activities and I have had wonderful opportunities to do some amazing things. Whether it has been exploring down town Kansas City or taking fun roadtrips, I have found that when it comes to traveling, i'm one blessed girl. So I thought I would highlight one of my favorites from the summer.

My family loves to travel, even if it only a few hours away. So this summer on our family vacation we decided to do something a little different.We knew we wanted to go somewhere, but didn't know where. So two days before we chose our destination for the weekend, (no i'm not joking) Orange Beach, Alabama.

We packed the car, and tried to get everyone situated. It was interesting trying to get 5 people into the SUV with luggage and two very tall boys. Jordan (my boyfriend) and Nick (Court's boyfriend) are 6'4 and 6'8 respectively. After switching seats many times and finally deciding who would drive first, we were off!  The drive there was fairly uneventful...except for the boys. They banned together and made every minute hilarious. So after 16.5 hours, we were there.

This trip was an absolute blast! We got to layout on the beach eat delicious sea food, shop and GO PAIRASAILING! I have always wanted to this, so I was SO excited to have the change to mark this one off the bucket list.

If you are ever in the Orange Beach area I would definitely stop by! It was the perfect getaway and I was so happy to get spend the weekend with some of my favorite people :)
