It's finally my favorite time of year! I loved being surrounded by love, Christmas music and celebrating the blessings God has given me. It's thinking of the Holidays that makes me wonder what brings people together. Sure, it's seeing loved ones and celebrating what were thankful for and for most a religion, but let's be serious...it's also the FOOD. Goodness gracious, we had a WHOLE day of it yesterday! So after dwelling on the topic of my blog for a few days I have offiicially decided to make it about faith, food and family. Okay, it may seem unusual for a young adult to want to blog about this, but if you know me.... You'll know its SO me.
Since it was Thanksgiving yesterday, I have been obsessing over food. So I want to encourage you to check out the foodnetwork.com and allrecipes.com! They are awesome websites with AMAZING recipes that you can edit depending on how much of a cook you are.... This Holiday season, I have used both websites quite a bit.... and will of course continue to do so.
Today's recipe is one of my favorites... Peanut Butter Cup Cookies! Mmmmm! I'm going to be visiting my boyfriends family for the Holidays, and this is definitely on my list of treats to bring... If the family doesn't like me at least they'll think my cooking is delish... RIGHT?!
As we continue on this Holiday season remember to surround yourself with love. Our families (whether biological or those you consider your family) have so much love to offer... So in the midst of the wild chaos of life, remember to make that phone call, send that email to let your family know what you mean to them!
