the beginnnig of my new obsession.

For some reason, I have decided it would be a good idea to get a blog.  i saw julie and julia a few months ago and was slightly in love with the idea of having a cooking blog. since im still mastering my cooking skills this isn't a cooking blog.. yet. until then, itll be a smorgasbord.  its slightly nerve wracking to be writing my thoughts for people to see, but here's to being out of my comfort zone.

today i choose...... BAKING. 

ive always loved the sweet treats and the weather has been chilly so it only seems logical to bake yummy treats.  so. a few weeks ago, before i caught the dreaded strep throat, i took a personal friday and BAKED with the lovely boyfriend. It was quite a treat and let me say SO delicious.  We began by having no idea what to bake  so of course we went to all recipes.com. Seriously, its a wealth of cooking knowledge that i absolutely adore. foodnetwork.com isn't bad either especially if you are an avid foodnetwork watcher like myself. It just depends on your mood. I would suggest to go to both, compare recipes and make the changes you want. Cooking and baking doesn't need to be this formula you must follow, its best to just go at it however you want and experiment.
