The places we go.

This past weekend I went with Jordan and a few of his friends to the Kansas state fair. I had never experienced the Kansas state fair until my sophomore year and since then, I have developed a love for going... Maybe its the people watching, the atmosphere or the food. Okay, lets be serious, its the food and the ridiculous amount you can eat while you are there because CALORIES DONT COUNT.

Yep, I said it, and I believe it.

We of course had to stop and get a pronto pup! I dont even like corndogs, but these are so yummy.

The BEST rootbeer in the world.

Last minute photo of me and the boys (Gregg and Josh) minus Jordan.. sorry bebe!

For the first time ever, I had a tacone... picture an icream cone filled with taco stuff. Sounds gross, but its delish.

On the way home we decided to make a sorta spur of the moment stop to Lindsborg, Kansas or more commonly called little Sweden.

We stopped at Cornado's Castle... Isn't this place amazing?!

Here's a glimpse of the inside... Kinda reminds me of a knights tale!

Is this view not incredible?!

For some reason I really like this picture. I think its the clouds and how the sun is shining so brilliantly!

Artsy, right??

This is the down town area of Lindsborg.

Is this not the cutest name for a store?!

They have all of these horses called dala's all around town, painted different colors. A lot of houses have them hanging on their porch engraved with their last name!
I promise I had more pictures to add- such as the swedish meatballs we had for dinner and the delicious sweet potatoes we had at the Swedish Crown. But for some reason, I can't get them off of my iphone.
(This is why I hate technology).

Hope you enjoyed this glimpse of my weekend. It really inspired for me to find some new recipes. So in the upcoming weeks, look at my take on the tacone or sweet potato fries!

Peace, Love, Eat Good Food,

Kayla
