Summer and Jobless

Well, summer has officially begun! Hallelujah While at times I have found myself to be extremely bored, I'm taking this time now as a blessing. I know I will probably get some sort of job soon and I will be taking those 3 classes. Gross, I know.

So while I'm still bored  I mean, enjoying my free time, I have been reading (I'm totally a book worm), watching the first season of Modern Family and of course, being crafty.

Now before I get any further, I want to share one of the best things I have done over break.... Which is I read the book... HEAVEN IS FOR REAL. Its an extremely short read, I read it in about 2 hours or so. That may seem like a lot of time to dedicate for one book, but I promise, it WILL be worth it! It is told like a story, so you feel like you are there with the family experiencing everything they are. You are sure to get teary eyed throughout the whole book! If you want to look at the family's website, click here

I am now about to begin a book series by my FAVORITE author Karen Kingsbury and let me say, she is an extremely talented woman! In all o fher books she incorporates faith and having a relationship with God in EVERY book. It is so refreshing to read stories of real life situations. Yes, they are fictional characters but i think the lesson to learn in them is absolutely real. Time after time, I find myself feeling loved and encouraged becasue I am reminded that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me immensely. So, I encourage you to sit down and read one of her books, just one, I promise you will LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I have some new crafts and recipes to share, but that will have to wait for another time.

Love and Shalom,

Kayla
